About the Starved Rock State Park Visitor Center:

The Visitor Center is the best place to begin your trip to Starved Rock State Park. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, this is where you can get your bearings, learn what’s happening in the park, and make a plan for the day.

Inside, you’ll find exhibits that share the history, geology, and wildlife of the area, along with helpful staff who can answer questions and point you toward the right trails based on conditions and your experience level.

It’s also where many of the park’s guided hikes and educational programs begin, making it a central hub for both exploring and learning.
