About: Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks, all year long. 100% of the proceeds from the 2025 Starved Rock and Matthiessen Calendar are being donated to the Starved Rock Foundation. • About the Starved Rock Foundation: Founded in 1991, The Starved Rock Historical and Educational Foundation is the non-profit organization for Starved Rock State Park. In collaboration with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, we’re rooted in conservation, education, and recreation. Our volunteers staff programs including interpretive hikes, visitor center docents, trail cleanup, and seasonal events. We raise funds for park improvements through memberships, donations, and proceeds from the volunteer-run LeRocher Book Store. We’ve funded over $460,000 in park projects, programs, and improvements in the past 30+ years. Learn more at www.starvedrock.org
